As part of our commitment to improving our customer experience, we would like to remind you of a mandatory upgrade for all Gasboy PRIME controllers to service pack 14 (BSP14) or above. In Mid- 2021, Gasboy began reaching out to Distributors for PRIME controllers that were installed in the field but not commissioned for warranty to have these commissioned and updated.
The updated service pack is critical for enabling continued operation of the nOrCU controllers, by optimizing the controller memory storage (eMMC), which extends the longevity of the controller. In addition, the service pack contains tools for monitoring memory storage.
If you have a customer that purchased a PRIME unit PRIOR to May 2020 and they have not received a software upgrade or you are unsure, please contact technical support at 1-800-444-5529 for a review. Please provide the serial number and/or GVR ID for the equipment, and a customer contact for assistance.
This program is being covered by our warranty until the end of 2021. If you haven't already been in contact with the Gasboy team, please be sure to reach out as soon as possible so we can assist your customer in a timely manner. Thank you for your continued support.
